From Stressed to Best: How to Build Resilience in the Workplace

Fortunately, there are strategies you can use to become more resilient and better able to manage difficult situations. Here are five tips for becoming more resilient to frustration at work:

  1. Recognize and accept your emotions: When you're feeling frustrated, it's essential to acknowledge and accept your emotions. Don't try to deny or suppress them, as that can make them more intense and harder to deal with. Instead, take a moment to recognize and validate your feelings. This can help you move on from them more quickly.

  2. Take a break when you need it: Sometimes, the best thing you can do when you're feeling frustrated is to take a break. Stepping away from your work for a few minutes can help clear your mind and reduce your stress levels. Take a walk, do some stretching, or simply breathe deeply to help you relax and refocus.
